Pitaldonich
NN 8260 6548
Perthshire
Derivation:
this may be "the portion of Maol-domhnaich" (Watson, WJ 1926)
Notes:
Pitaldonich may be associated with a Perthshire burn called Allt Phit'aldomhnaich, which Watson translates as "the burn of the portion of Maol-domhnaich" from Allt Phit Mhaol-domhnaich, which had an earlier form of Petmuldonych (Watson, WJ 1926)
